Cover doesn't close fully

I just received this cover today and have already printed the return shipping label. The construction quality seems fine, but the cover doesn't close fully when used on a Kindle. Since the kindle 1 has a distinctive wedge-shape, I'm sure that is the reason for the elastic strap of the original Amazon cover. I don't imagine that the lack of a strap would be a problem with the cover that Bobarra has for the latest (kindle 2 and dx) designs.
On a side-note, I did exchange a couple emails with the owner of Bobarra when making this purchase decision and was very impressed by her rapid replies and answers to my questions. |

| I received this cover today, {ASIN:B0021KDKE0 Thoreau Cover for Kindle 2: Chocolate Brown Leather]] and it is not at all like the one pictured. The retention is by elastic straps in the corners that are too small to hold the Kindle 2. I E-Mailed Bobarra and they said the pictures are for the Kindle 1 version. The quality of the leather is not great either, this is a cheap, cost saving substitute. It's on its way back. |
